F I S H I N G R E P O R T S:
Grapevine, November 25, 2006
It was a tough day for the Luck O' The Irish team on Grapevine today. We marked lots of fish in a lot of places but the only spot they even sort of cooperated was at Murrell Park.
Don had 4 clients and I had 5 and betweenthe two of us we manged 16 Sandies and 1 largemouth around 4lbs. It was only a half day for both of us and I was kinda glad. THe fish were mving fast or spooking easy I am not sure which. You would catch one or two, maybe three and then nothing. The water was really murky so it made me think that maybe it was "turning over'/ The water temp was the low fifties and most fish were caught on Lead Babies Lil Shad in gold with a black back. the fish were caught between 13 to 16 feet deep on the outside east edge of the flat. Birds were looking as hard as we wre and finding less! LOL
The ones we did manage to catch were pretty aggressive. Oh well, another half price trip for next year!
E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
