F I S H I N G R E P O R T S:
Grapevine, September 4, 2005
Another fine day on Lake Grapevine!
I took a family out to say that seemed to have a lot of fun. I took 3 men out with their Father and we caught a lot of nice White Bass.
I followed my usual route first Rock Ledge, where dad won the "first fish" bet. With not much going there we moved to the Island area and found a school of magnum Sandies. We caught several 14" plus fish here and a Crappie and a catfish. The fish were cooperating enough that we stayed around awhile before moving on to the rock crusher humps. The fish were very cooperative here and we put more fish in the box there.
Dad was getting hot and tired so we came in and they ate lunch at Scott's Landing while I cleaned their fish.
We finished the day with 41 White Bass the 1 Crappie and the 1 Channel Catfish. These fish really liked the RSR Chartreuse Shad Slab and the Burgess Baits 2-tone. The ramps are shutting down now so be careful and be prepared to wait in line to launch
E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
