F I S H I N G R E P O R T S:
Tawakoni, July 30, 2005
What a great way to spend the morning. I finally got to talk my good friend Howell Dodd and a new friend Jack Spirko into spending a morning with me on Lake Tawakoni. We looked around Cloud Point at first but there was nothing happening there so we kept moving. I found birds working at Finger Point a little later in the morning and we caught quite a few nice fish here with some big Sandies mixed in.
After that we tried a few more spots for Sandies and I did finally talk Howell into trolling the down riggers for Stripers. We worked Wolf Cove pretty hard and caught several, keeping one around 7lbs. The fish were very cooperative and I thank Howell and Jack both for the contribution to my church‚s fish fry. Thanks also for the stills and the video!
E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
