F I S H I N G R E P O R T S:
Lake Tawakoni
June 11, 2011
The fishing on Lake Tawakoni continues to be outstanding. After some initial hard searching I found some schooling fish and the game was on! The fish were very shallow say between 4 and 8 feet deep and had the bait fish pushed into a corner of the dam. My clients used flutter spoons made by Mike Flannigan to put lots of big White Bass in the fish box. Mixed in were numerous undersized Hybrid Stripers and pure Stripers that were returned to fight another day. The action slowed there and I took us up the lake to a point which has been producing big White Bass to finish out their 75 fish limit and it didn't disappoint them. The fish were big and mean and they bit hard and fast. Many times there were 2 and 3 fish at a time being fought and brought into the boat. I know they had a great time and I had fun helping them enjoy it. Lead Babies Slabs were the ticket once again and the fish were caught between 18 and 26 feet deep along a drop off on the point. Let's get catching!
E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
