Grapevine, May 30, 2008 This was a fun morning. I had Debbie form a couple weeks back bring her friend form church and we had a blast catching the fish all over the lake. The fish were thick around the Island and at Rock Ledge Park. The island brought us some fish and then Don called and said that the big fish were at Rock Ledge. We caught fish for a long time here and it was so much fun listening to these ladies having fun. After the bite quit in the shallower water I played a hunch and found them again in deeper water not too far away. WE caught more fish continually and it was a blast. Don had meanwhile headed to the island where he had found some fish on top. So I joined him and again the fishing was great! The fish did slow down though so we split up and began looking again. We found a good school on top of a deep water hump and finished the trip out with a bang. All the fish were caught on Lead Babies Slabs and TNT 180’s in varying colors. The ladies caught over 150 fish and kept their limit of 50. E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway. |
