F I S H I N G R E P O R T S:
Tawakoni, May 22, 2005
Today the fish were the complete opposite. Customers got in the boat around 6:15 and I pushed the boat away from the dock, dropped the trolling motor down and by 6:45 they had boated 65 fish out of which there were 30 magnum White Bass and some small Hybrids/Stripers. When the action slowed there we left and went to Sun Point. Here we caught about 10 in combination of Whites, Stripers & Hybrids. These were good Sandies/White Bass and small Stripers and Hybrids. When we left there we went to the Dallas Pump Station and caught about 10 more keeper Sandies/White Bass and one Hybrid at 22" long with lots of small fish as well. From there I took us back to Cedar Cove and the customers caught about 30 more. Fished other places but had little luck ended the day with around 175 caught and kept 2 limits of fish.
Both days all fish were caught on Burgess Baits (slabs) and Rattle Traps. The water temp is 76 degrees at this time.
