F I S H I N G R E P O R T S:
Grapevine April 26, 2005
Picture perfect day. Winds 9-12mph out of the north. Bob from the Chicago land area and I got a late start and managed our first cast at 10 am. Started by the island with birds working and got into a bunch of undersized sandies.
Next stop near Murrell with fish stacked from 10-20ft in 30 ft of water. Caught 30 here with 15 keepers (12-14in). Moved over to Meadowmeare and had the same luck. Ended the day with over 100 caught and 33 keepers. All on slabs at various depths from the bottom (30ft) to 5ft below the surface.
A good pair of binoculars is a good investment to locate working birds.
