F I S H I N G R E P O R T S:
Cedar Creek
April 29, 2011
Friday on Cedar Creek, April 29th. Double trip
The morning trip was with my long time client Mark and his friends Alex, Jess and Keith. We found some fish early down by the dam and it was on for quite awhile. They caught 3 keeper Hybrids here and some really nice Sandies. The action slowed here and I went up north a ways and found very little. Came back south and fished a protected point and the fish were really deep compares to most days, 29 to 33 feet deep. We finished our limit of whites here and had one Hybrid break off.
The evening trip was with fellow TFF'r Chris. We found some fish on several points and had a few in the box when we moved to a last hump and found the Sandies stacked thick! Chris got his limit in pretty short order after that and the last hour was spent throwing a "Big Kahuna" spoon from Moe's at the rocks along the dam. Chris caught one Blue Cat on the spoon and hooked a good Hybrid but lost it. No pictures of this tip but he had fun and plans to book more trips in the future.
This morning, April 30th,
This was a personal day with my sweet wife Debbie and my friend Paul and his friend in a follow boat. Started off at the dam and caught a few nice Sandies. Moved and moved and finally found some fish on a hump and put a few in the box. Headed on and found fish stacked on a point and added another dozen fish. We ended up with 30 for the morning. I love fishing with my wife! She even helped me clean the fish from all three trips on Cedar Creek! Water was clear and in the low 70's. Fish were caught on Lead Babies slabs in the Irish Special color in the one ounce PeeWee size.
E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
