F I S H I N G R E P O R T S:
Tawakoni March 20, 2005
Sunday, March 20th
Today was almost a carbon copy of Saturday. Today I fished with repeat customers Fred, Kevin and newcomer Lee. The Stripers did not school much today at all. They were however still in the deep water and suspended. Were able to catch and release a number of good fish, I honestly lost count and kept one Striper for each of them. Once again the Sand Bass were unreal with a limit of 75 in the box and catching and releasing more than 100 fish.
Just another great day on Lake Tawakoni.
A word of caution, review the post on how to tell the difference between a Hybrid and a Sand Bass. The recent controversy over the stocking of Hybrids by the Parks & Wildlife has come to the forefront in the minds of the local Game Wardens. The Wardens are writing tickets on the water, at the boat ramp and the fish cleaning stations. I have a simple rule in my boat If in doubt, THROW IT OUT! There are more than enough Sand Bass just waiting to fill your live well.
E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
