More WIND!! I fished again with my friend Todd, but for some reason the rest of his family decided to sleep in and let him have all the FUN.
The rocks just did not produce for us today so we went straight to the Terrill pump station. I only had a half-day because I had to take my mother to a doctor’s appointment. The Sand Bass were in the same area as the day before and the same depth as the last three days. The technique today was different though. We simply lowered our slabs to the bottom reeled them up half a turn and put them in the rod holders! We managed to somehow put Todd’s limit of quality Sand Bass in the box and were done and on the road by 12:30.
The water temperature never varied much form between 52 and 54 degrees and was slightly more murky than last weekend. The fish are hanging around 29-33 fee deep and are moving along the drop offs.
Some days you have to pay if you want to play!
E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
