Fishing, Fishing and Fishing to go along with the WIND, WIND and MORE WIND!!!!

E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
Today I fished with repeat customer Glen Gillespie and his sons who are on Spring Break from college. This day was windy but at least it was out of the South and not too cold. Started off fishing the rocks with some good success. The fish didn’t really move up on the rocks though until around 7:30. We were throwing several different colors of Holiday Sassy Shads, but the pearl seemed to work best with the tail dipped in Glo-Dip in chartreuse. The best method was to slowly move the bait down the rocks keeping them as close to the bottom as possible. We decided after the bite quit and we had 6 Stripers and 1 Hybrid to head up the lake for some Sand Bass and found them once again along the South bank near Anchor Inn Resort. These Sandies were once again fairly deep from 28 to 30 feet down with the best bait being a toss up between the Rainbo Silver Minnow and the silver Crippled Herring. Another bait that produced good numbers was the Tungsten Spoon made by Bass Pro Shops also in silver. Best technique was to “stir the mud”. We finished the day with around 45 Sand Bass and 2 large Yellow Bass.
