The Cottage on Lake Tawakoni is the most wonderfully relaxing spot on the lake. The view is wonderful and nature as close as a walk to the water's edge. The house itself is very well kept and you will feel like you have a home away from home.

DIRECTIONS TO COTTAGE ON THE LAKE
I-20 East - I-20 East - Exit #512 Hiram-Wills Point -- Turn left going north on FM 2965 for 5.8 miles to Hwy. 80 - turn right to fourth traffic light - turn left on Hwy. 47N (brick street in downtown Wills Point) -- .4 mi. to Texaco station on right - turn right at stop sign on Hwy. 47N following signs to Lake Tawakoni for 5.2 miles to FM 2475 (sign for Lake Tawakoni State Park) - turn left on FM 2475 going north for 3.0 miles to VZ 3829 - turn right (small white sign for Tanglewood Marina on left side as you turn) to fork in road staying to the right side of Queen City Grocery (closed) - follow road past Tanglewood Marina and church on right. As road curves to left, go straight on Hunt County 3710 to house on right side with Welcome sign (10943) and black, wrought iron fence. Turn in gate and proceed to house.
I-20 West - I-20 West -- Exit #512 Hiram-Wills Point - Turn right going north on FM 2965 - Follow above directions from this point.
Hwy. 80/I-20- Exit I-635 to Hwy. 80. Continue on Hwy. 80 to Hwy. 80/I-20 split. Either continue on Hwy. 80 through downtown Terrell to Wills Point or take the I-20 split and continue east to Wills Point. Follow directions above from the point you need for Hwy. 80 or I-20.
I-30 to Rockwall/Terrell - (From South Garland/Rowlett area) Exit I-30 East at the Rockwall -205 exit (truck stop). Stay on 205 to Terrell. Make left on Hwy. 80 and continue to Wills Point. Follow directions above after reaching Wills Point.

From the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, take 175 east toward Athens. Just past I75 Business in Kemp, take the Texas State Hwy 274 exit ramp. Turn right at stop sign and stay on 274 around the lake to TX 31. At that stop sign turn left towards Malakoff. Once in Malakoff, turn left (North on TX 198.) The next major street turn left again, there should be a sign referring to the Malakoff ISD Athletic Complex. Take the 1st right, CR 1703. The Marina is on the right at sharp left turn. We will meet you at the dock just down from the store! There is nearby lodging at Country Side Inn on TX 31 and their phone number is (903) 489-0400.

From the Metroplex, take I-45 South to Corsicana. In Corsicana, take 287 South towards the lake. Stay on 287 and just before the lake bridge, Oak Cove Marina will be on your left. I will meet you in the store.

From Fort Worth, go North on 121 to the 114 Business Exit. Go back over 121 and stay on that road thru to 3rd stop light. Turn left at the light that will be Northwest Highway. Next light is Dooley, turn right. Follow signs from that point that say "Boat Ramp". I will meet you at the dock.

From the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroples take Texas State Highway 114 North to the city of Bridgeport. Once in Bridgeport proceed to US Highway 380. Turn West onto US Highway 380 and proceed west over the lake bridge. Just past the bridge will be a store and a marina on the right. We will meet you in the store.
